Anne and John started their elopement with a true Alpine Start. The day prior we joined them in a small family ceremony then we drove to the trailhead and we hiked under the stars with headlamps up the switchbacks to Anne’s favorite spot in Rocky Mountain National Park. Anne did her own hair and makeup at the lake, and they experienced their “first look” right before sunrise. As the sun lit up Long’s Peak with alpenglow, we were able to capture these amazing portraits. Anne and John spent the rest of the morning exploring around the lake, popping champagne and having a celebratory picnic before hiking back to the trailhead.
