What will eloping be like?

On your wedding day, we will we capture a gallery of jaw-dropping photos that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. This is not an all-day portrait shoot, this day is about you, and we want to capture you spending your perfect day with each other! With that in mind we take a lot of candid photos of you and your partner exploring, laughing, adventuring, and most importantly spending your wedding day together, in the most beautiful place you can imagine.

And we are so much more than “photographers”! We are experts at doing up dresses, straightening boutonnieres, or carrying coats. We will keep the energy and excitement high all day and we’ll even go head to head with a marmot if it tries to steal your vow book (no really. This happened. And Emerson chased it down and got it back!)

What makes Colorado or Utah the best place to elope?

How do you elope in Colorado?

Did you know that in Colorado you don’t need any witnesses or even an officiant to get married? It is called self-solemnizing. This makes it one of the easiest and best places to elope or have an adventure wedding. You also cannot beat those mountain views. If you are looking to add adventure to your wedding day, Colorado has what you are looking for. In order to get legally married in Colorado, all you need to do is obtain your marriage license.

How do you elope in Utah?

To elope in Utah you will need a licensed officiant and two witnesses to sign the marriage license (and we are both licensed officiants!) With 22.8 million acres of public land in Utah, you have endless spot to choose from. From the 5 national parks to the gorgeous areas in between, your Utah elopement will be extraordinary. We love Utah for its slot canyons, deserts, and sweeping views.

Who’s behind the lens?

Taking pictures of incredible couples in incredible locations - its kind of our specialty. Ever since our friends asked us to photograph their elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park in 2020, it has been our dream to help capture the weddings of other amazing couples. We also eloped ourselves!

Emerson has been in the visual arts for over a decade as a cinematographer, editor and photographer. Chloe’s organizational skills will make your wedding planning a stress-free and smooth experience .
